imageCLASS MF236n "Error"

I just got a new desktop running Windows 11.  I have tried so many times to install the software for my ImageClass MF236n and each time I get everything loaded, it says "Error" and doesn't print.  It doesn't show what type of error or even have a code.  It worked fine, but one day I had to scan something.  I didn't have the scan utility so I went to Canon website and downloaded the scan utility from there.  After that, it didn't print or anything.  Now, I'm so deep in this rabbit hole I'm ready to scream.  Is there anyone that can help?

I had the same problem. I went ahead and bought an HP printer

Does the new computer have an ARM CPU? Many new computers do. They have a special Windows 11 for ARM version. Not compatible with drivers for Intel and AMD processors.

You could possibly have the printer work with Windows ARM's built-in drivers, but you wouldn't have all the expected functionality.

Hello,

We would be happy to assist, but we would need some additional information to assist further. You can reply to this message with the information below and we can provide some troubleshooting steps or suggestions. For a more immediate resolution I would suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to assist.

1. When you try to print, do you get any errors on the printer's display screen or what does it show you?

2. Are you able to make a copy from the glass? If not, what error message do you get?
