hello danny, the printers are USB connected, I am able to use feeders to copy but not scan. this is the error message "cannot communicate with the scanner, cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off, check status and try again" code 155,0,0 .both printers are connected and turned on. please help thank you
That error could be caused by the incorrect scanner selected in the scanner utility or security software blocking the connection. In this situation, you can try clicking on the scanner selection bar at the top if the MFscan utility to make sure the correct scanner is connected. If you have tried all available connections in the scanner selection box of the MFscan utility, you can try turning of any security software that might be blocking the MFscan utility software and trying to scan again.
