imageCLASS MF232w printer error, won't print

it's been 3 weeks since out of no where my printer refuses to print. I've cleared out all the print jobs in the que, turned it off and on, unplugged for 10 minutes, and it still won't print. It just keeps saying Error

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the MF230 series.  The model number should appear just below the printer's LCD screen.  That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

2. What version of the mac or Windows operating system are you using?
