I bought the 122dw printer to replace my 126 printer because I wanted to go wireless. I was very happy with the 126 but a little disappointed in the 122dw. Hopefully this is a result of operator error.
I’m using Air Print via my Apple I-pad . I-phone, and my IBM PC. Basically I used plug and play instructions to set up.
When trying to print from my devices, I cannot change-the settings to change from one sided, to printing both sides. The soft switch in the print menu allows me to toggle the setting but it still only lets me print one sided.
Air print does not seem to allow me to see or change any print setting preferences , such as print density, quality, etc.
I find the LCD display on the printer difficult to see and navigate. When trying to navigate I sometimes change things resulting in error messages and printer malfunction.
Do I have to physically load drivers via diskette to access the preferences and make changes?
Is there a step by step procedure to load preferences?
Please help,
Eddie
