Hello, running Windows 10. Imageclass D540 is suddenly printing and copying very slow. Unfortunately an individual tried to switch paper types in middle of a job yesterday and now after printer/copier receives it "processes" for 30+ seconds before picking paper up and printing document. I've unplugged for over 10 minutes and restarted machine. I've restarted printer spool in services in windows. I have reset all settings to factory. I've tried adding and subtracting the amount of paper in the paper tray. I have also made sure the paper is placed just right (not too tight) in the tray. None of these things have improved processing time. Light does blink while "processing" before picking up paper. I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Thanks!

Hello,
If the prints and copies are slow after someone changed the paper settings, you can try switching the paper type. The standard paper setting for plain 16 bond would give you the fastest print speed. You can press the paper settings button and then use the arrows to select the tray that you are loading the paper into and press ok. After that, you can switch the paper type setting to plain paper 16. Once it has been changed, you can try printing or making a copy to see if the print speed has improved.
