Hi, I have a Maxify GX7021 printer and I have an error code showing up (5012) in addition to a loud screeching noise coming from my printer. We unplugged the printer, checked for any jams (there isn't) and re-started it with the same results. Please advise.

The code would point to a jam in the printer and would mean the printer needs service. The code will to a problem with the scanner element being able to move properly under the glass. In this situation, I would suggest contacting support at 1-800-652-2666 to check your service options or log into your MyCanon account.
