Canon Maxify 2320. How do I make gray scale the default setting

How do I resest my paper jam error on MF4770n when everything is clear and printer still gives erro

I have tried turning power off,  unplugging etc to reset my paper jam error   but still it persists.   Is there a way to hard reset the printer?
