Will I be able to use black toner only with the imageCLASS LBP632Cdw?

I want to buy this printer and one of the main reasons I'm buying this one in particular is because it supports printing from a USB drive.

However, I don't need to print in color. So, I don't want to have to buy color toner. I just want to be able to print in black and white. Will I be able to do this, or will the printer tell me I can't print because I don't have color installed?

Hello,

To print, you would need to have a toner cartridge loaded into each slot on the printer. You can print in black only if each of the color toner cartridges are empty, but they will need to be in the printer.

i have new black cartridge, colors are empty and won't print. I have a cartridge in each slot

The slots have to be populated with toner cartridges that have toner....  Not empties.

Their levels can vary, but none can be completely empty.  You always have the option of printing black only or grayscale, but you must have toners loaded with some remaining toner available.
