My whole computer had to be reformatted last week and I'm now on El Capitan. Our IT guy and I have spent quality time troubleshooting and have come to the conclusion that we need new PPDs for our canon printers. OUr workhorse Laser Printer:Imagerunner Advanced C5051 and Large Format Printer: Canon IPF8300s.
We are able to print using a shared printer with a computer that has NOT been updated to El Capitain. So at least we aren't dead in the water.
The only thing we haven't tried is to plug the printer directly into a computer. Somehow, I doubt we will be able to print in that case either.
Is there a timeline on new drivers for El Capitan?
