I have had printer for a few months. It was fine until a few days ago. Scanning and copying is fine, but when I print, it takes forever to print one page and if I ask for multiple print jobs, only the first pdf will print, so I have to print one at a time. Then there can be up to a 20 minute delay before anything actually prints.

Hello DarrylB,
If the entire job does not print, it will usually point to a problem with the print spooler service or it points to a problem with the connection between the printer and computer. I would suggest starting with the connection. If the printer is using a network connection, you can try unplugging the router for 5 seconds and then plugging it back in. Once the network is back up, you can try printing again to see if more prints. You can also try moving the printer closer to the router to improve the signal. If connected via USB, you can try plugging the printer into another port or trying another USB cable.
If that does not work, you can try restarting the print spooler service to see if it helps. You can press the Windows key and the letter R key at the same time on your keyboard. In the run box that appears, you can type in services.msc and click OK. In the list of services that come up, you can scroll through and highlight the print spooler service. once highlighted, you can click on restart at the top of the window.
If that does not resolve the issue, I would suggest contacting support at 1-800-652-2666, our agents would be happy to assist with the issue.

Hi, DarrylB!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or Mac OS, and which version thereof) and which apps you're trying to print from. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

Windows 10. Printing email attachments and PDF documents with Adobe

I have found I can't print more than one document at a time to my 445dw under Windows 10...the problem resolved in Windows 11, but now I can't print to legal size paper.

I have not tried it with my Windows 11 PC. But having to print one attachment at a time is a real pain. Also, if a document has more than one page, it often only prints the first page - or sometimes the second and I have to print all the other pages individually. It sucks.

Make sure you have the latest driver...but then, they latest driver is clearly broken in Windows 11.

I've only had the printer for less than two months, so I suppose I have the latest driver. It was working fine for the first month or so and then just went pear shaped. I've used Canon printers for years and never had these issues.

As have I, but they came out with a new driver on 12/3/21:
