Scan issue -- Canon color imageclass MF8580 CDW

Hi,

My Canon color imageclass MF8580 CDW printer worked fine before I re-installed my computer, which with windows 8 systerm. I couldn't my driver disc and downloaded one from cannon website. After reinstalling, copy and print functon work perfect, but printer can't find my computer when I want to scan a document. I have four computeres at office, printer is able to find the other three. 

Could anyone give me suggest to fix this issue? Thanks!

Hi americana.

 

Please verify that the printer is registered in the MF Network Scan Utility by following the instructions below:

 

1.  Click the scanner icon  in the system tray.

 

2.  Select the check box for the machine, and click [OK].

 

3.  Next, perform a scan.
