Is there a simple way to accomplish this? I feel this shouldn't be so complicated.

  • How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?
  • What software/app are you printing from?
  • Have you installed the most current software/drivers from our site HERE?

Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue.

Hello,

When using our Canon print business app, you can use the steps in the link HERE to access the print settings and change your paper size. You would only be able to select the default paper sizes that the printer can use so 3X5 would be the only available paper size. If you are running into problems adjusting the paper size or loading the app, I suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to assist.

Greetings,

3x5 and 4x6 are considered custom paper sizes on the MF656CDW.
