MF460 How to change scanner file format

How can the file format be changed when using the scan to folder option? Looks like the default is image but would it to be PDF.

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the imageCLASS MF460 series.  The model number appears on the front of the print to the right of the Canon logo.
