I have a new MF445dw which I am using to send scans as PDF via email.
Regretfully, even with email "Data Size" set to "Large: Image Quality Priority", the PDF files sent are only scanned at 300dpi.
Is there a way to set the dpi to 600 for when emailing scans as PDF files?
Thank you very much.

Hi sylerner.
The 300 DPI limit is a limitation of the printer's data processing and onboard storage; to reach 600 DPI for a PDF, you will need to handle scanning from a computer. The extra resources available on the computer allow the image to be processed at the higher resolution. The scanning drivers and software are available, free of charge, on the MF445dw Drivers & Downloads page.

I am using Linux on all of my computers.
Are there scanning drivers for Linux (presumably SANE compatible)?
I'm surprised with 1GB of RAM that the printer can't handle 600dpi natively.
Thank you for your assistance.
