MF269dw Mystery Error...Will Not Print

sbstlmo67

I am receiving a mystery error trying to print both a pdf and a Word doc. Details:
I have a basic, one-page Word doc. I click on File, then Print.
Under Printer, it shows Canon MF260 is Ready, with a green checkmark. I click Print...and nothing prints.
The printer shows no indication it has received a command.
I go to Settings for the printer and run the Troubleshooter, which either tells me it fixed the error or couldn't identify the problem, seemingly at random.
If I go back to Word and select Print again, this time it shows Canon MF260 has an Error: 1 document waiting.
I don't use the printer often, but was able to copy a piece of paper, so the paper is feeding through, there is ink, etc.
Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks!

Hi!

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know the specific model of the printer you have. It will typically start with a model type such as PIXMA, MAXIFY, imageCLASS, etc... followed by a mix of letters and numbers.

If this is a time-sensitive matter, please check out your other support options here.

Thanks!
