MB2320 prints wavy lines and horizontal lines on text

Printouts have wavy letters and lines, plus lines on the text itself.  I have tried doing a manual print head alignment without any success.  Any other suggestions?

Typically we might ask what's changed?  I assume this is new behavior.  When did it start and what proceeded it.

It just started doing this last week while printing lots of excel spreadsheets.  I have been doing a lot of printing lately, mostly spreadsheets and Word documents.
