MAXIFY MB2720 Scanning Feature Not Working Using IJ Scan Utility

Hello,

My scanning is not working with my MacBook Pro any longer I think since new update. I called Canon support multiple times and restarted my computer, and printer, and router, still not success. I also reinstalled the drivers from the Canon website and the scanning is still not working but it scans with Image capture but not with IJ scan utility. It worked for like a year but I noticed this problem like 3 days ago and I haven't used printer since last software update. Support rep said I tried everything so it is most likely the software on my computer. Also with support on the phone I checked the permissions for my computer to allow connections and they were all on especially for Canon. I reinstalled the software still no success, I think engineers need to work on new software with Canon and Apple. Please fix!

1. When you try to scan, do you get any specific errors or what happens?

2.In the IJ scan utility, what do you have set as the save location?

3.Are you using any security software on the Mac? if so, what security software are you using?
