We have a Canon ImageCLASS 8580cdw on Surface GO mini-portable device. The printer will install but the installation fails at the scanner portion. Any ideas?

The MF8580Cdw is comaptible with the latest version of Windows. If you're installing it from the CD, try instead downloading and installing the drivers from the MF8580Cdw Drivers & Downloads page. If installing for use by USB, ensure the Surface GO is plugged in and charging.

I have tried installing from the download of drivers for a printer on the network. The installation fails when it tries to install the scanner drivers.

If only the scanner driver is not installing, then there may be a conflicting program or other issue on the computer. If you're located in the U.S., our support is available at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm ET, excluding holidays. If you're located outside of the U.S., you may find your local branch of Canon at https://global.canon.com/en/support
In the case that the issue cannot be corrected by our support, you will need to contact support for the computer.
