ImageClass MF445dw ink flaking/spreading

I'm having issues with ink flaking and spreading across the page, like in the picture below. This is what happened when I told it to clean the fixing assembly. I'm using genuine Canon ink, and this has been happening for a while now, so I don't think it's just bad toner. It's especially bad when I use the envelope feeder. Any tips? Thanks in advance!!

Hello, 

The issue looks like one of the toner cartridges are leaking or there is loose toner powder in the printer. In this situation, you can try removing all of the toner cartridges and inspect the inside of any for any loose toner powder that can be wiped up with a damp cloth. You can also inspect the cyan toner to make sure it is not leaking/damaged. Once you reload the toner, you can perform a fixing unit cleaning using the steps in the link HERE.

If that does not resolve the issue, it looks like the printer needs service. You can log into you MyCanon account to check your service options.
