No able to get get new compuiter reconizes I have tried everthing since I bought new window 11 computer. Thius printer worked fine on old windows 11 computer after I plugged in and setup..  I have worked many hours and watche dmany videos and i ama t a loss to get printer tobe reconized and set up and prin on new computer. I have downloaded drivers several times  but keep getting same error message fille LBP6030_v2111_wp-USEN/bootup/steup already exists. overwrite file?     It won't let me oeverwrite file to run Win ZIP.. hate windows 11..please assist.

when I llok for printers in printers and scanners it says printer wasn"t listed not able to enter new device manuallu.. Why is this so difficult?

My experience with Windows 11 is different than yours.  While different than 10, It can be tamed and works fine.

I need you to confirm the following.  Is your new Windows 11 computer Intel/AMD based or Snapdragon based (windows ARM)  This is the CPU type in your new computer.

It sounds like you are connecting your printer via USB.  Is that correct? Please confirm for us.

I'll provide more details, next steps once you answer the above questions.

You need to run the printer's installation utility before connecting the printer.  Connecting it first can result in problems.  This is true of many USB peripherals.  

At this point sounds like you have multiple failed attempts to install.  You will need to start over,  To be successful, I recommend you start from a clean slate.

Start by disconnecting the USB cable from your computer.  Now navigate to Bluetooth and Peripherals under Settings.  Now select Printers and remove all instances of your printer.  (Failed attempts) If present.

Now under settings, select Apps from the navigation pane.  Uninstall all Canon software.  You can also do this under Programs and Features in Control Panel.  Close the dialogue when complete.

important, now restart your system. 

Once you are back on your desktop, open a web browser and visit the support portal for your printer.  Here is a link for your convenience.

Select downloads, software and drivers, Windows 11.  The file that you referenced above is correct for USB Installation.  Here is a link so you can download a fresh copy.

When you run the download, if it detects that you have already installed it previously, you'll receive a prompt letting you know that it's going to overwrite the existing file. Go ahead and say yes. 

The file should run automatically but if it doesn't, go ahead and execute it.  It will be in your downloads folder and the name might be followed by a (1).  Do not connect the printer to an available USB port on your computer until prompted to do so by the utility.  The printer should be connected directly to a USB port on your motherboard. Do not use a hub, auxiliary port or an adapter.  The utility will prompt you to connect your printer.  You can do so when prompted. 

You're 6030w should now be installed and ready for use.

Thnak you. there is no Canon app that  is installed and there is printed that shows up under printers and scanners. But when I try to pry, it says Canon LBP6030w class driver  Pused error 2 documents waiting.. when I try to download drivers the same error message comes not allowing winzip to extract. is there a way to delete the driver.
