I have an MF726CDW which is on my network. I'm trying to scan into a paint program but I'm getting an error message "Internal program error: An invalid parameter has been passed to a function".
I have the latest drivers installed to include the MFScan Utility and the NetworkUSBScanPatch. I've contacted the manufacturer of the paint program and sent them a screenshot of the error message, but I have a feeling it has nothing to do with the paint program. I'm just trying to cover all my bases and hopefully, somebody here can help with the problem.
Thanks in advance

Hi treadhead194.
I will be glad to assist you; however, so that I can best assist you, I will need to gather some more information. Please answer the questions below:
1. Do you know which type of scanner driver the paint program uses?
2. Are you able to scan using the MF Scan Utility or the Windows Fax & Scan program?
I look forward to your reply. If you need immediate assistance, or run into any other issues, please call us at 1-800-OK-CANON (652-2666), Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET (excluding holidays).
