WoL is not a stated feature of the MF645Cx, but its network interfaces (ethernet and wireless) should support it and allow the device to be woken up from a low power state.
The printer however, might support different "sleep states" so it may be possible for the printer not to wake even if packets are sent. This support and behavior can also be affected by the router which the printer is connected to.
Ethernet is typically the most reliable, but sometimes this isn't convienent or possible.
