Hello,
I own an iPF770 plotter but this question probably goes the same to any other Canon printer:
I've created a lot of custom paper sizes inside the printer's driver settings (Printing preferences -> Page Setup tab -> Size options).
How can I copy these page sizes to other workstations in our office?
We've already tried the Group Policy on our server, but custom pages don't get distributed, just the basic printer settings.
Any ideas?
p.s.
After the printer gets distributed by GP, I've found a new registry entry on the workstations:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Providers\Client Side Rendering Print Provider\Servers\our server name\Printers\{06F2582B-D1C6-41E7-B191-E167A897FFEE}\DsDriver\printMediaSupported
All custom pages show here, but they are just names, not actual printer settings...

Hello cupax,
I understand you have a question about how to copy (or GP deploy) the custom page sizes you have created for your imagePROGRAF iPF770. The printer driver used by the iPF770 does not have a feature that will allow you to copy (or export) custom page sizes. In order to use custom page sizes on each workstation (i.e. computer), you will need to create the custom page size at each individual workstation. Copying (or GP deploying) is beyond the scope of our technical support.

Hello Sonya,
Well, what can I say, your answer is very dissapointing. We have about 20 custom sizes and about 50 workstations, you do the math. I can't believe that your drivers have no such option. We like you hardware very much, but sad to say I'm dissapointed in you software and not only on our plotter, also your Scanners that we own have issues.
And since you completely lack of any software developement support we'll probably just sell the plotter and switch to other brands.
For example: We also have a couple of Xerox printers which work flawlessly.
