Color image class MF 644 cdw doesn't recognize usb drive

I plugged a fat32 usb drive directly into the printer and the printer does not recognize that it is there.  Any suggestions on how to tix this? Thanks in advance

1. Are you trying to scan to the memory card? If so, what error do you get for the memory card or what problems do you run into?
2. Are you trying to print from the memory card? If so, what type of files are you trying to access(PDF,Jpg,Doc)?

I am trying to print from a usb thumb drive.  It has several kinds of files on it but the file I am trying to print is jpg.  When I go to the memory media print button on the printer screen, I get the message connect the memory media even though the thumb drive is inserted in the back of the printer.  It does not seem to recognize the thumb drive. Any help is greatly appreciated in layman's terms if possible.  Thanks

If it is not detecting the memory card, you can try checking the settings for the USB functions using the link HERE. If that does not work, you can try moving the file on the flash drive so it is not in a folder in the memory card. If those options do not resolve the issue, I would suggest contacting support at 1-800-652-2666. our agents would be happy to assist with the issue.
