I have an imageCLASS MF642Cdw color printer and I have an error trying to send a scanned file to a specific email. I use google account, and I have seen all the tutorials and forums but I have no success.
How is this going:
Using remote UI:
Setting
TX Setting
Email / I-fax Setting
Edit
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
E-Mail Address: XXXXXX@gmail.com
POP RX: Off
Authentication / Encryption Settings
POP Authentication Before Sending: Off
SMTP Authentication (SMTP AUTH): On
User Name: XXXXX@gmail.com
Password: ??????
Use TLS for SMTP: On
Verify Certificate: Off
Use TLS for POP: Off
The problem is that the system does not accept the email password
On the other hand, I set the port number for Gmail to 587
This problem has happened to me on other occasions, however, it is fixed only as if by magic, but I have already been trying for several days and have not been successful.
How can I request it? Thanks in advance!

Greetings,
If you'd like to share the error with us, that might help?
Maybe my comments in the thread below will help. Different printer but the interface and requirements are the same::
