Hello all, Ive tried everything with my Canon 8050cn and would like to try cleaning the sensors, but I cant find this area you were talking about here when I removed my black cartridge. Would you please send me a screenshot of this sensor area, and will find it in my printer? I understand we have different printers but maybe it will also solve the same problem in my printer. Thanks so much!

Thanks for posting!
While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon imageCLASS MF8050Cn has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the printer or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer. They can be reached at 866-443-8002.

Here are two pictures, the sensors are under the black cartridge (one red arrow, remove the cartridge), picture with four red arrows. One can see black dots in the squares which are the sensors.Black cartridge (sensors are beneath)
