Since the latest Windows update last week I cannot print on any laptop or computer that has updated windows.
I get the following error message
Operation could not be completed (error 0x000003e3)
The i/o operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request
the printer worked fine until the windows update

Greetings,
both 1909 and 2004 can introduce printing issues in some environments. MS has already patched them assuming this is actually your issue.
You can uninstall updates (indefinitely) and or "Feature Install" for up to 10 days. Settings > Update and Security > Recovery.
Might be worth going back to your previous build to confirm that the update is in fact the cause of your issue.
Or
Check to see if you have this update and/or if applying it helps to resolve.
Again, I'm just going off your diagnosis. If might be unrelated.

Thanks for the help. I contacted support and they had me delete the printer, verify it was not listed in the Apps and Features (if it was, I needed to delete it). The printer utility is ok.
I downloaded the recommended driver on the Canon site and that solved the problem.
I will keep your info as well - just in case! Thanks again!
