Canon MB2740 display not working

MY printer display is not working. The power LED is ON, but can't see any display on the display screen. It is blank and dark.

I have followed the procedure as given in the manual, but the display is still blank and dark.

" IF POWER lamp is lit:

The touch screen may be in screen-saver mode. Tap the touch screen. "
