My 6230 printer had problems when installing USB drivers. After a week and the printer not installed. I get weird DLL error messages. It said it was not compatible or had an error. I uninstalled the drivers now they won't re-install.
I tried uninstall driver, usb support, and printer. I tried installing via wireless, which I don't really want, and that doesn't work either. The printer shows up in the control panel under printers, a printer is created, but no drivers are installed. I manually try to update drivers and they say they are the wrong type.
Need help, like a week ago.

I have exactly the same error, printer shows up as added, but cannot get it to print. Is there a new driver update that fixes this?

I fixed it and thought I posted it. I installed the older XPS (whatever that is) driver software. I don't remember what order I did it in but it worked right away.
