PIXMA G2410 PC says driver not installed after MP driver installation

Dementor
Apprentice

Hello,

.

I have a Canon G2410 printer.

I tried to install the official “MP Driver” from the Canon website, but on Windows 11 Home I always get the message “driver not installed” — the installation fails (error: MP drivers not installed).

I have tried:

  • running the installer in compatibility mode;
  • searching and installing via INF manually through Device Manager;
  • removing drivers, packages, and disabling automatic driver installation by Windows;
  • using a clean system (without any third-party drivers installed).

But the driver still does not register.

Hi Dementor,

Welcome to The Canon Community, and thank you for your inquiry!
We appreciate your participation, however, we need to let you know that the Canon Community is hosted and moderated within the United States by Canon USA. We are only able to provide support for Canon products manufactured for and used within the US market. The PIXMA G2410 isn't sold or supported by our team here at Canon USA.
If you live outside the United States, please CLICK HERE and select your country or region for your support needs.
You're welcome to discuss Canon products sold outside of the United States, but please be aware that you will not receive support directly from Canon USA.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I have already contacted Canon Support in Ukraine (since my PIXMA G2410 was purchased there), but unfortunately, they were unable to provide a working solution. They confirmed that I performed all the correct steps but could not explain why the driver still fails to install on Windows 11 Home.

That’s why I decided to reach out here — to check whether Canon USA or Canon Europe might have any additional information or updated driver version for this issue.

If possible, please forward this message to the appropriate Canon Europe technical team, as the problem seems to be driver-related and not region-specific.

Thank you for your time and understanding.
