Can no longer print duplex with MF229dw on Mojave

Hi,

I have been using my canon MF229dw for almost 3 years with no issues with duplex printing on my macbook.  I recently updated the printer driver (which now shows in printer/scanner preference as MF220), however since the new driver was installed, I have not been able to print duplex.  

I use Mac (Mojave 10.14.6) and the duplex box is checked, however it does NOT print 2 sided.  I have uninstalled and re-installed the printer driver twice with no luck.

Any suggestions?  Thanks,

Hi minnedox.

To help narrow down possible causes to the inability to duplex print, please let us know the following information:

• When adding the printer back, what is listed in the Kind column, and which driver are you selecting in the Use drop-down?
  
  
• What media type is registered to the tray from which the paper feeds?
