I have several ip110 printers.
Two of them will only work if I attach a charged battery pack. If I use a working power adapter (but no battery) the power button does nothing. No lights and no sounds. However, if I then attach a charged battery (charged on a different machine) the printer will power up and functions properly.
I have tried the "fix" which involves unplugging the printer then pushing the power button 10 (or 15 or 20) times and then holding the power button down for 10 seconds. This did not change anything.
The two printers work fine with a charged battery, it is just when I remove the battery and try to use the power adapter directly that I have a problem.
Is this a known issue? Is there any solution to this?.
I am not sure which firmware version I have in the two problematic printers because I am cleaning the heads and cannot add a battery and print out any reports just at the moment.
Thanks for reading.
