I would like to remove the top cover from my ip110 as it is not functioning and I'd like to take a look inside to find source of problem. I have the rear and front screws removed and all plastic tabs released. But, something is holding it down in front of printer. I can't figure out what it is. Anyone done this? Thanks for your help!

OK, I managed to figure it out. In case anyone else needs to do this, there is a tiny screw beneath the plastic button plate on top of the printer. Cover came right off and I was able to repair the unit.

Are you referring to the Power Button strip on the Canon ip110. Same issue. Not ip100 which is a different power button. Successfully released all screws and tabs but something is holding the top down. Please help if possible. Urgent situation. Thank you

Great news, figured out how to open the top of the Canon ip110 printer out of warranty which helps if you need to use support. Once you remove the screws the top sticks. There's a screw under the black power, feed, Bluetooth strip. Carefully push downward then slide to the right and it releases (be patient it takes practice). Once you remove the screw the top released. Carefully clean the ink area with a damp almost dry cotton swab or pad. You can troubleshoot and power on and off using the same precision screwdriver (2.0mm). Was able to even connect to my computer and run diagnostics, align the print head, and run paper thru the feeder. She's purring right now and working great although it's time to think about the TR next generation.

so can someone please explain in detail how to remove the button panel so I can access that last screw? I have a loose power port and I need to access to see if I can somehow secure it. Thanks in advance
