I have a Pixma iP110 printer which uses the PGI-35 & CLI-36 ink cartridges. This printer is my "travelling" printer & doesn't get used much except for maybe a coupe of months out of the year. If it's going to be stored for a long period of time, what should I do with the ink cartridges?
1. Leave them in the printer?
2. Remove them, snap the orange plastic covers back on & store them in a plastic zip-lok bag?

3. Any other suggestions?

Hi shooterbill,
Please leave the ink and printhead installed in your iP110. With the print head and ink tank left installed in your iP110, press the ON button to turn off the power. This allows the printer to automatically cap the print head, thus preventing it from drying.
