PIXMA TS202 color documents printing in just one color

I have enjoyed using my canon pixma ts 202, but something very strange happened.

A little back story first, my printer was working just fine and then I had some malware I couldn't get rid of, so I took it to the geek squad (what a mistake that was). The malware was removed and so was the software I had on my laptop.

No problem re-installed my software. I needed to print out some documents, but I ran out of ink. No problem got my ink, and started to print them out, Houston, we have a problem.

The color ink, which I needed was one color only. I thought of everything, I downloaded the IJ printer assist tool, ran the cleaning, deep cleaning, nozzle check, bottom plate cleaning, roller cleaning. Uninstalled my printer, re-did everything from scratch, still the color was only one color, bought new printer ribbons, still nothing, and here I bought the canon brand not on the onn brand of ink for this printer, updated the drivers. I am running out of ideas, I even re-did the nozzle check, made sure full color printing was checked, I didn't pay much for this printer, I had it since it first came out in 2015, I am wondering if I should just cut my losses with it. Peform a nozzle check from the printer panel. Make sure the tape is removed from the cartridge print heads. A nozzle check from the printer panel does not rely on drivers to print. Let us know what it shows.

You need to prepare: a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper

  1. Make sure that the power is turned on.

  2. Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper on the rear tray.

  3. Pull out the paper output tray and the output tray extension.

  4. Press and hold RESUME button and release it when Alarm lamp flashes 1 time.

The nozzle check pattern will be printed.

Do not perform any other operations until the printer completes the printing of the nozzle check pattern.

This is what it showed IMG_2094.jpeg

It appears to be a bad Color Cartridge problem or chip connection issue. . My printer color cartridge went bad yesterday, would not print  both cyan tests , only the top one which gave my prints a magenta cast. That discolored the labeled boxes from black to brown. I was using a Canon Cartridge remanufactured by a third party. It went bad at half empty. I suspect the cartridge chip malfunctioned. .

well maybe the 3rd time is the charm, guess I get to go to wallyworld....again

Thanks for your assistance
