Looking for your opinion. For a long time now I've been converting my Raw images into HDR using DPP. Just this past weekend I set up my 90D to convert in-camera. I'm still looking at a few of my results. What do you prefer ...convert in-camera, or DPP? Thank you.

I don't do HDR on a regular basis, but when I do I use it like this. I take a "test" image and have the camera create the merged HD version as a check that the subject actually benefits from the HDR process. Then if it does, I'm likely to use autoexposure bracketing to create the individual images for merging in software on a computer. One of the limitations of DPP is the possibility to only use 3 images for HDR, other software allows more source images to be used.

Dick_Davis,
You have to include a couple. Click on the little icon of a camera.

Steve ... I'm just asking for the process that people prefer using. Not the final image.

TY p4pictures ... I haven't had a lot of spare time lately but I'm going to get a bit more into bracketing. DPP is the only editing software I have.
