Upgarde EOS T5i

I currently own a Canon Rebel EOS T5i. I would like to upgrade. I primarily use a Tamron SP24-70 mm f/28 lens. 

Here is what I am looking for:

I tend to blow up pictures into very large prints so I need something more pixels. 

I still like the autofocus and the dial on my T5i and would like to have something similar. 

Wifi capability

Although I don't typically do videos I still want video capability

I also want to make sure my lens will transfer over to my new camera. 

Would like a lighter weight of a camera.

80D is a good camera.

Compare the features of any camera you are considering against each other and your T5i and decide what you need, what you don’t need and the price difference.

Any lenses that fit your T5i will work on the EOS77 or the 80D.

The 90D is better and what you should get. You have a beginner camera so a really nice upgrade is to a more pro oriented camera like the 90D.

A good lens but not a great lens. A better lens for what you said you like to do might be the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens for Canon. It is a great lens! It is a reason alone to buy a 90D.

DSLR cameras do not come much lighter than the T5i. If you want light, then look at the T7i.

The best mid range camera is the 90D, which has a 220000 pixel metering sensor. Compare that to the 5D4 and 7D2 with 150000 pixels.
