According to a ink cart supply site (forgot the name), the reported page count for the newer CLI8 carts is half as much as the BCI3/6 carts. Between 40 & 65 pages vs 100 pages for the BCI series. Both carts seem to be around the same szie. These were Canon carts thou the generic were listed the same.
