Please show how to remove an incompatible CanonEOS1D.kext System Extension from my Mac?

Any file in my Sequoia System Library Folder is untouchable by anyone, including the Administrator. Apparently I gave permission at some time over the years for Canon to place a CanonEOS1D.kext system extension file in my Mac System Library Folder. Maybe when I bought my camera or printer. I don't use Canon equipment anymore. I want the extension removed. Apple continues to warn me about the extensions incompatibility. Attached:

Greetings,

It sounds like you have remnants of a old installed software or application.  These are usually removed by dragging the associated program from the applications folder to the trashcan.  It doesn't appear to be a recent application and might be a left over or forgotten file.  If the software that installed this file is still present, remove it and restart your MAC.

It might be possible to use commands in terminal to remove the file or files as well.  OS Recovery is another option.

To repeat, i cant touch system library extensions, no one but the vendor Canon can. I have trashed every item associated to Canon, but not in a protected folder.

Do you know how? Repeating i have trashed anything of Canon on my Mac, but not in the System folder.

You could download and try the free version of CCleaner for mac and use the uninstall feature. It might remove it.

Greetings,

I understand the ask fully.  Since you believe this is Canon's responsibility, I suggest you contact support.  Their number is 1-800-652-2666.  If a solution is provided, it would be helpful if you could post it here for others that might be facing a similar issue.
