You need to use a photo-processing software like the Canon DPP (which is free) or others that support RAW processing and convert the pictures to jpg. You can do this in bulk, not one by one, so it's not too bad.
Of course, you should perform post processing on the RAW images before converting.

My choice is Photoshop Elements or Lightroom but the best is Photoshop. IMHO, PS does a better job on converting than Canon's own DPP.
