I'm entering a contest for a wildlife calendar sponsored by the state wildlife agency. Here's what is specified- jpg photo, landscape, print no smaller than 8-1/2x11, minimum 300 pixels per inch. Here is the photo spec's:

1. jpg, 4.4 MB, 6000x4000.

2. jpg, 3.4 MB, 4608x3456.

Is there anything else you need? Thanks.

I don't know what is going on with how you are resizing so I can't advise. But I believe you have PSE? That is where you need to resize your photos, not File Explorer.

EOS 1D, EOS 1D MK IIn, EOS 1D MK III, EOS 1Ds MK III, EOS 1D MK IV and EOS 1DX and many lenses.

I have PSE and plowing through it. Also have DPP4.

Rather than reduce the resolution of your prints, use a file-sharing program like Dropbox, or Microsoft Onedrive. You can post the full image on the site and give them a link to download.

cheers, TREVOR

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;
"All the variety, all the charm, all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow", Leo Tolstoy;
"Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase" Percy W. Harris

Got Dropbox somewhere on my laptop. I have used it to send photos to magazines in the past. Trevor, thanks for the reminder.
