reversing special effects on photo and movie playback

Hi;  Can I remove special effects on photos aready taken??  I accidently applied a special effect and did not notice til end of day.  Also, what did I do when I created movies that play back extremely fast with no sound??"

Unless you're capturing your images and movies in RAW, you will most likely not be able to remove any applied effects.

 

What equipment are you using?

 

In terms of video playing faster than normal speed with no sound, sounds like you captured video with a high frame rate (e.g. 120 fps).   You'll want to set your video mode back to a standard frame rate (e.g. 23.98, 24, 30).

 

Sometimes you can capture high frame rate footage while capturing audio.  That is such a feature of the EOS C70.
