Could someone please direct me what to mark or what to unmark to stop receiving email notifications?

I went to My Settings and then to Subscriptions. After many attemps, I am still receiving email notifications. Please help

Here is how it worked out for me :

-       Go to “Subscriptions & Bookmarks”

-       Go to “Email Subscriptions”

-       Select all items

-       In the drop down, choose remove all or delete all (I don’t remember the exact naming)
