Can you recommend a camera close to Canon G7X Mark III?

I’m looking for a travel camera with built in flash that has quality exactly similar or better than the G7X. Plus if the screen flips. I’ve been looking for G7X for so long, but I heard that there are other models that’s better or the same and that one is just hyped up for no reason lol. Please help! Budget is under $1k (hoping to stick around $800).

its above your stated budget however. if you want a flash, your best option is the R50.  Its a interchangeable lens body within your budget.

Used to be lots of Powershot camera models but no so any longer. I suppose iPhones have done that.
