EOS M50 mark ii Will not connect to EOS Utility Pro

Hi guys. I am a streamer who is currently setting up for my stream. However, the only two cords I have to connect my camera to my pc/laptop are not working. I've swapped cords, usb ports, etc. Nothing will work. The camera is now not showing on Discord, the utility pro app, streamlabs, etc. This is completly frustrating. Please also note that I have just updated the utility pro application to the newest version.

Hello chameleon318,

I can understand your frustration with that. First, please check and disable the camera's Wi-Fi function if applicable. If left enabled, even when not in use, it will disable the USB port of the camera. In order to disable the Wi-Fi on the camera, you would go to the purple Wi-Fi menu #1 and there is a setting called Wi-Fi settings. Disable that.

If you are using a USB hub that allows multiple devices to connect to your computer, then either connect the camera's USB cable directly to the computer or disconnect all of the other devices from the USB hub.

If a different application is attempting to communicate with the camera, then it may prevent the EOS Webcam Utility from detecting it. Please check and close any other application that is attempting to communicate with the camera, like the EOS Utility 3 application.

If the problem persists, can you let us know what operating system you are using on your computer?
