im trying to upload my pictures and I am getting an error message

I have the MacBook Pro OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3 and I have the Cannon EOS rebel t51. I have uploaded pictures several times, but now I keep getting a message reading either "no camera found" or "cannont be used with this version of the operating system". I dont understand why it will not work anymore. Please help!!!

In order for the software to work with the latest version of the Mac OS, it needs to be updated.  Please download the latest updates from our website HERE.
