EOS 2000D images are blurry

I have a canon eos 2000d and every time i turn the camera on its blurry and the pictures come put blurry. I watched youtube videos and looked it up on google. How do i fix this problem? I have to take pictures for someone birthday on the 5th

What lens?  Have you tried adjusting the focus?  Have you tried green square mode? Can you share an example?
