WiFi to Image Gateway -- "This image cannot be sent" -- T6s

I am a brand new user.  

I think I am properly set up to transfer to Canon Image Gateway: it shows up on my camera and i can "connect" to it and then my images appear to be selected and uploaded.  But when I tap on the image to upload it, I receive the message "This image cannot be sent."  The images are in .raw format.  Is there a limitation on what can be uploaded to CIG?

I have never used the Image Gateway, but I don't think you can transfer RAW files to it.  Probably because CR2 files don't share well.
