I have a Canon Rebel TS6s camera and when I plug it into my laptop, my laptop is not recognizing it so I'm unable to upload my photos from my camera to my laptop. Is there a setting on the camera that might be off? I used to upload to my laptop with no issue. I had a new hard drive installed on my laptop so maybe that changed something?

Windows? Mac? Linux?
Rebel TS6s is not a model. Do you mean Rebel T6s? T6? T6i?
The camera should mount in your File Explorer or on your Desktop, depending on what OS. No setting on the camera for this. A new hard drive isn't the issue.
You need to give better info on what you are doing.
Do you have another USB cable to try?

Great idea - I'll try a different cable.
