I wanted to buy a camera to shoot videos, but I noticed the video is quite grainy when I tried to shoot. I have a Rebel T5 1200D with a efs 11-55mm lens. I'm not sure how to fix the picture quality.

"My settings on the camera are 1920x1080 at 24fps."
That's a pretty decent image for that resolution. With everything in the field of view so far away, nothing is going to look tack sharp when you zoom in so close that you can nearly count individual pixels. [ a.k.a. pixel peeping ]

What conditions are you shooting under? If you are in low light situations then the camera increases the ISO and you will get digital noise (grain).

Can you post a screen shot of a video you are playing on your computer?
What settings are you using for video?

I'm sorry, but I don't have any input I can offer. maybe someone else can assist.
It would be good to know ISO that was used.
